Overview

Auto Finance Tools (AFT) is operated by PNJ Automotive Enterprises LLC. AFT provides calculators for vehicle purchases, leases, affordability, and estimated taxes and fees. This policy describes information processed by the currently available website, including Google Analytics, and distinguishes active features from features planned for the future.

Information you enter and browser storage

You may enter vehicle information, transaction amounts, ZIP codes or other locality details, and calculator choices. AFT uses your browser's local storage and, for some workflows, session storage to remember preferences, calculator information, and scenarios you choose to save in My Garage. My Garage currently works without a customer account and keeps saved scenarios in your browser. Others with access to the same browser profile may be able to view those saved entries. Clearing browser or site data may delete them.

VIN lookup and vehicle information

When you submit a vehicle identification number (VIN) for lookup, the VIN is sent to an AFT server function to obtain available vehicle information. The current government-data lookup uses the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) vehicle decoding service and may compare results with vehicle reference data. The server-side service can use another configured vehicle-information provider if that functionality is enabled. Information returned may include model year, make, model, and other available vehicle specifications. Review the information before relying on it. As with other web requests, hosting and the services involved may process technical request information.

Tax, fee, and locality lookups

Some calculations send the jurisdiction, ZIP code or ZIP+4, and, where requested, street, city, or other location details to AFT server functions to identify applicable taxes or fees. Depending on the state and the service configured, those functions may use government services, public reference datasets, or external tax/locality services. Only provide location information relevant to the calculation. AFT may not be able to resolve all jurisdictions automatically.

Google Analytics and cookies

AFT currently uses Google Analytics 4 to help understand website visits and usage. On pages where Analytics is installed, Google's measurement code can collect page-view and interaction information, browser and device information, and information about how visitors reach and use the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser identifiers. When the browser connects to Google services, information such as the page URL and IP address may be transmitted to Google. AFT uses aggregated usage reporting to evaluate site performance and improve the service.

You can manage cookies using your browser settings; limiting cookies or blocking analytics requests may affect measurement. Google also provides a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for supported browsers.

Advertising and AdSense status

AFT has registered this website for review by Google AdSense, but Google AdSense advertising has not yet been activated in the current website release. The AdSense ownership-verification tag and public ads.txt record do not, by themselves, serve advertisements. If advertising is activated later, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, ad personalization. We will review the required disclosures and applicable consent or opt-out choices before enabling advertising.

Contacting us; accounts and payments

If you send us an email through the addresses shown on the Contact page, your message and the contact information you provide may be used to respond to the inquiry. The currently available AFT website does not offer active customer sign-in or subscription checkout, and does not ask you to provide credit-card numbers, bank-account credentials, or Social Security numbers to use the calculators. Do not send sensitive financial-account information by email.

Hosting and operational information

The website and server functions are hosted through Netlify. Hosting infrastructure and connected services may process ordinary technical information, such as network addresses, request paths, timestamps, browser details, and service diagnostics, in order to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and operate the website. Service-provider handling of information is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.

You can delete saved browser data or adjust your browser's cookie and privacy settings.
